This experience is based on a century long history. The gold digging has a big tradition in the Gasteinertal. In the former century the gold digging was closed down, but the club Via Aurea (which means the way of the gold) wants to give you the opportunity to get some of the flair of gold digging. At the small river in Angertal you are able to do gold panning in the water under experienced guidance. With some luck you will find your own first gold during your summer holidays in Gastein.
