Eco-friendly rail travel to the Gastein Valley – Eco-friendly mobility once you are here
The Gastein region is actually the only valley in SalzburgerLand able to boast complete north-south rail service, which means our guests can enjoy stress-free rail travel all the way to their Gastein vacation destination. At two-hour intervals, you can hop aboard a train in Salzburg and travel direct to Dorfgastein, Bad Hofgastein or Bad Gastein. If you prefer not to wait, there is also an hourly connection, which will entail you having to make one change to the post bus.
